ResumeForge
A resume builder that tells you why, not just a score.
A free resume builder and ATS checker that runs entirely in the browser, with nothing sent to a server.

- Stack
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, pdf.js, Web Speech API

The need
Job seekers hear that software screens their resume first, then get a score from a checker that won't say how it was worked out. They need a builder that is honest about what it measures, fixes what it safely can, and never invents achievements for them.
What we built
A complete product with a guided builder, PDF import, templates, an ATS checker, voice input and PDF export.

Start from what you already have
Upload an old resume or a LinkedIn PDF. It is read in the browser and every field in the builder is filled in for you.

Or just answer a few questions
Quick Build asks short questions with tappable example answers, and fills the builder as you go. You can speak your answers instead of typing.

A score that explains itself
Parseability, relevance and general quality are scored separately. Without a job description there is no match percentage, because there is nothing to match against.

It fixes what it safely can
Weak verbs, formatting and structure are fixed automatically. It never invents numbers. The steps only you can do come back as a ranked checklist.

Templates machines can read
28 templates, all built for applicant tracking systems. Switch between them without retyping anything.

Private by design
No account, no server, no AI model. Everything is saved in your own browser and exported as PDF or JSON.

Try it
Add a job description and apply the safe fixes. Notice what changes, and what it refuses to make up.
See how the score is worked out
A fictional resume. The three scores stay separate, and there is no match score without a job description.

A complete product, not a model demo
ResumeForge has the parts real users need from end to end: a way in (upload or answer questions), a place to work (builder with live preview), a reason to come back (an honest score and a checklist), and a way out (PDF export). None of that is the "AI" part, and all of it decides whether people actually use it.
Honest by design
- No match percentage without a job description. Without one, there is nothing to match against, so it doesn't pretend.
- No invented achievements. It suggests where a number would help, but never writes one for you.
- No server. Your resume never leaves your browser. Voice input uses the browser's own speech recognition.
What this means for your business
Most AI projects fail at the edges: onboarding, clear feedback, privacy and export. The model is usually the easy part. When we build for you, the edges get the same attention as the engine.
